The Transformation Plan is Complete!

Big News for Westwood Exchange

Over the past two years, residents, partners, and community members developed a plan to transform Will Rogers Courts, activate the Westwood Exchange neighborhood, and ensure residents are stable and thriving. We’re excited to share big news: HUD has released a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the Choice Neighborhoods Implementation Grant—an incredible opportunity that could bring up to $26 million to the Westwood Exchange neighborhood to help bring the Transformation Plan to life.

The transformation plan focuses on three areas:

  • Housing - redevelopment of the 348 units at Will Rogers Courts into high-quality, mixed-income housing
  • Neighborhood - activation, placemaking, safety, and economic development in the Westwood Exchange neighborhood
  • People - Supporting Will Rogers Courts' families so that all residents can thrive related to employment, education, and well-being
