Welcome to the Engagement Website for the Woodland Choice Neighborhood Planning Process!

Help develop a plan to transform Yolano Village and Donnelly Circle, activate the surrounding neighborhood of Woodland, and ensure all residents are stable and thriving.

In September 2024, Yolo County Housing (YCH) was awarded a HUD Choice Neighborhoods (CN) Planning Grant for the Greater Central Woodland neighborhood. Yolo County is one of 13 communities nationwide to receive this grant in 2024. This grant funds a two-year planning process that focuses on Yolano Village, Donnelly Circle, and the surrounding neighborhood.

The transformation plan will focus on three areas:

  • Housing - redevelopment of the 60 units at Yolano Village and the 72 units at Donnelly Circle into over 265 units of high-quality, mixed-income housing
  • Neighborhood - activation, placemaking, safety, and economic development in the Greater Central Woodland neighborhood
  • People - Supporting Yolano and Donnelly families so that all residents can thrive related to health, education, employment, economic mobility, and well-being

Yolano/Donnelly Resident Survey

Yolo County Housing will be conducting an in-depth survey for the residents of Yolano Village and Donnelly Circle to learn about residents' needs (related to housing, education, health care, job opportunities, and more). Please sign up with YCH to schedule a time to complete your survey and receive a gift card in return!
